Bristol City Council has announced that the kiosk café in St George Park will be closed temporarily after this weekend (25th – 26th January). It is not yet known when it will reopen.
The Council says:
“St George Park kiosk is costing more money than it is currently generating and regrettably this is not sustainable. In view of this, it’s the intention to close the kiosk until a suitable candidate is selected to manage and operate the service.”
The kiosk will soon be advertised by Bristol City Council’s Corporate Property Services to attract potential candidates to operate it. The aim is to re-open the kiosk in the very near future. The new lease will require the new operator to work closely with the community.
If you are interested in running the kiosk please email Area Environment Officer, Denise James who will ensure that you are sent details when the advert is published.
