Workshop – Pollinating insects

An opportunity from St George in Bloom . . .

St George in Bloom has been asked to invite up to 16 local residents from St George or representatives from communities within the St George area to participate in a DEFRA funded workshop day on Pollinating insects.

The workshop will be held at Bristol East Allotments Association in their meeting room at Nicholas Lane, St George, Bristol BS5 8TY on Tuesday 4 August 2015 from 10.00 a.m. to 2.30 pm. A facilitator will run the workshop.

In recognition of the important work you will be doing by participating, you will also be remunerated for your time (£100 per participant). Should participants choose to donate their fee to St George in Bloom or a local voluntary group of your choice your donation will be very welcome.

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day.

Please let St George in Bloom know by Tuesday 28th July if you, or a member of your group, would like to apply for a place on the workshop on August 4th.

Please note: If the number of applications exceeds the number of places that are available for the workshop, we will hold a ballot and select the first 16 names of applicants.

To ensure a fair allocation of places on this workshop, local community groups are asked not to nominate no more than one representative from their group.
